PALM TERMINAL

The Palm Terminal SPT is a ruggedized hand-held unit designed to run Palm applications by tapping on the screen with a stylus.  Because the Palm uses batching technology and is not a wireless unit, these applications can be used from home or at another store location.

Palm Applications available to our Retailers are as follows:

RetailPlus

RetailPlus is included with every Palm install.  With Retail Plus, a variety of files can be used to do price audits, make price changes, conduct inventories and perform other applications from the palm of the hand.

Import the following files for the source of audit:

• Point of Sale File (ISS45, MEI, MSS Global, PCRegister, ScanMaster, RBO, others by request)
• ULINK Electronic Order Guide
• Unified Retail Files
• Spoils File

Each RetailPlus install comes with the RetailPlus Suite that will automate the process of loading the source file into the palm, process the collected data and display the results in an exception report.

Scan items by UPC to view item information on the Palm screen.  Users can add new information in one of the input fields for shelf price, text messages and inventory amounts.

ULINK users can send price changes directly back to ULINK as a Retail Tag Batch for printing tags in scanned order.  Price changes can also update the POS system.

ItemPlus

• ItemPlus is included with every Palm install.
• ItemPlus can expand condensed UPCs and create quick lists of UPCs with user-selected quantities without loading a source file.

CompletePlus

• CompletePlus is an elective add-on to an existing Palm install.
• CompletePlus can perform price audits on up to 10 stores simultaneously while comparing to one source file.
